Another Collegiate Ear Warmer

A friend is a Roll Tide fan and she wanted a set of ear warmers in crimson and white. She however didn't want a big elephant on her ear warmers...I can't really blame her. She bought the yarn and buttons and brought them to me and I put it all together this evening. I really hope she likes it! When she comes to pick it up, I'll be sure to snap a pic of her in it and post if she'll let me!

UPDATE!!!!
She received her hat and loved it!  Even let me snap a pic of her in it! YAY!

Birthday gift for a Friend

One of my best friends has a daughter who is turning 16 this year. Her favorite colors are blue and green. So while out and about shopping this weekend for Christmas, I happened to stumble upon a Michaels. Hello crafty stuff! I found this yarn and thought that she would love it.
When we got back, I measured her head and started in. Made this one pretty quick, as the yarn is bulky. Found the buttons as well and they were perfect for the colors. I hope she loves it!
It looks really big, but when it's on the head, it's a perfect fit.

Update:
Here she is in her beautiful hat!

Collegiate Ear Warmers

Well I happen to live in Wildcat country. So I figured it was time to make something for Wildcat fans. This is ear warmers for your little one. It will fit a 18-20 inch head. To measure, take a flexible measuring tape and wrap around the head, from the forehead to the back of the neck and around the ears.
The picture is a bit blurry, but not bad. I made this one with a button in the back. I prefer the button in the ear warmer so as a lady you don't have to mess up your hair to keep your ears warms. For boys/men, I don't have to put a button in/on. I can just simply stitch it together.

For my Granny

After talking with my Granny one day about the different hats, ear warmers and shoes I'm making. I finally asked her if she would like something. She told me her winter coat was pale pink. So I set off to make ear warmers in pale pink. My Granny loves all shades of pink, mauve and green. So I found the perfect button in my button stash and got to work.
I hope she likes it, I'm going to see her for Thanksgiving and I'll give it to her then. Hopefully I can snap a picture of her in it with her winter coat.

Baby Blue

Well  I found fantastic yarn today while out and about. It's fleece like. So the hat technically is fleece. Super soft and I'm sure it will be super warm. Next time I'm out, I'll be sure to get more and make more colors. Thinking about making a baby blanket with this.
This one should fit 0 to maybe 6 months. I'll borrow a friends kiddo to see exactly what size it will fit.

Christmas Hats

So it's that time of year again, when Christmas decorations come out and the songs are playing in the stores. I decided to make some Christmas baby hats.
This one will fit a a newborn baby, it's complete with jingle bells.

This one is a candy cane inspired hat, it will fit a premie baby.

Fashionable Ear Warmers

My mother and sister have seen these all over Texas and I haven't seen them here in the midwest yet, so I thought I'd try my hand at it.

I can do all colors, and I chose to wear mine with the buttons on the front. I can do simple buttons that can be worn at the back of the neck and make a flower to put on or no special stuff, and you can accesorize however you wish. These can be made for men, women and children all the same. Measuring for one is simple. Just shoot an email for the measuring directions.

Hook 'Em Inspired Hat

I made this for my daughter to wear on game day! How exciting!! I had many compliments on the hat today while we were out and about.

I do plan to make other teams, so if you have a favorite team and are interested in ordering a hat, don't hesistate to ask! Most teams should not be a problem.

For a Friend

Made this real quick for a friend's coworker. They're the "rocker" type and she thought they would love red & black.

Valentines

My cousin's wife asked for a Valentines hat for her little one for the upcoming holiday. She asked for a cream hat with a pink flower and button. This was my interpretation of what she asked for. I added a small round of pink at the bottom to give it a little something extra. What do you think?

I think it turned out really sweet. This was made for 3-6 months. Here's to hoping it fits baby at Valentines!
